Carlos Altimari
Carlos has been a partner of the Firm since 2020 and offers his clients corporate and contractual legal advice, with special emphasis on the mass consumption sector. He is a specialist in the design of corporate structures for the execution of businesses in Venezuela, as well as in the implementation of contractual international investment strategies. He has participated in relevant acquisition operations in Venezuela, with extensive experience in the organization and execution of corporate due diligence and technology transfer operations. He has represented mass consumption companies, investment groups, and innovation companies.
Carlos is a lawyer that graduated from the Universidad del Zulia in 2002 (Maracaibo, Venezuela). He obtained the title of Specialist in Corporate Law at the Universidad Metropolitana in 2005 (Caracas, Venezuela). He also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Southern California in 2019 (Los Angeles, United States), with certificates in Transnational Law & Business Law.
During 2005 and 2006 he was Senior Attorney at the Pérez-Duin Gutiérrez D’Corte Rivero & Asociados Firm (Caracas, Venezuela) and, subsequently, from 2006 to 2010 he served as Legal Manager of Compañía Brahma Venezuela S.A. (Ambev), a multinational beverages company that operates worldwide. From 2013 to 2017 he was Director of the office of the Governor of the State of Miranda.
Likewise, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Universidad Monteávila (Caracas, Venezuela) and was Coordinator of the Hydrocarbon Law Diplomat at the Universidad Monteávila (Caracas, Venezuela). He is an arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Maracaibo (Venezuela).
