Alberto Ruiz Blanco
Alberto has been a partner of the Firm since 2022 and offers his local and multinational clients legal advice on labor matters, representing the interests of companies in the negotiation and preparation of employment contracts, collective agreements, and design of compensation structures, crisis preventive programs, labor litigation, and dispute resolution. Alberto also has extensive experience in civil, commercial, and constitutional litigation.
Alberto is a lawyer that graduated cum laude from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1994 (Caracas, Venezuela). In 1997 he obtained a Master’s degree in Territorial Planning and Urban Planning from the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid, Spain) and, in 2009, he completed the Diploma in Hydrocarbon Law at the Universidad Monteávila (Caracas, Venezuela).
From 1994 to 2015, he was a consulting partner of the firm D’Empaire Firm (Caracas, Venezuela) and, since 2015, he dedicated himself to free practice representing local and multinational companies.
He has been a professor of urban planning at the Universidad Simón Bolívar (Caracas, Venezuela) and a professor of Environmental Law in the Corporate Law specialization at the Universidad Metropolitana (Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela). He has published specialized articles for several legal journals and has been invited as a speaker at various academic events at a national and international level.
